Interview
The questions were mostly based on the interviewee’s resume. The processing was fast. You’re done with everything (exam and interview) in a span of 2-3 hours. Also, you have the option to be interviewed the following day.
Super tough - very technical questions regarding accounting concepts and financial analysis around debt types ie term loan a, b,c and d as weak as covenant modelling and also looking a equity returns across different types of shareholders

Why do you think HSBC is the right company for you?
The company has way too many rounds of assessments, which I found exhausting. Ultimately, I was rejected because my résumé didn’t meet their requirements. However, I believe the résumé screening should have been done before sending me the assessments, not afterward.
