I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at H&M (Toronto, ON) in Jul 2014
Interview
A job fair was advertised on a job posting website. There were five interviewers, the store manager and people from the HR department. It was held in a classroom at a University, and walk-ins were welcome. You waited your turn to speak one-on-one with one of the interviewers, each of which had a desk at the front of the room. You were asked to bring a resume, which they skimmed briefly before asking you questions. If you passed, HR would direct you to the store manager who would speak to you briefly and, if he approved, offered you the job on the spot. Very informal. Dress nice, but not business attire.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at H&M
Interview
It was a group interview. They asked us about fashion and what we know about H&M and it’s background. We also had a task in groups to come up with good answers to the questions given, we also had to present.
It was a group interview, we did group tasks like styling people for different occasions and answering . It was pretty focused on the company values and if you have a love for fashion.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Style a customer who came in looking for an outfit for a job interview, their personal style is 'streetwear'
It was a group interview, about 8 of us. We had to basically work together on different scenarios and answer the questions the manager asked us. She also put us on the spot and individually asked us questions. I got 'who inspires you the most.'
