I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at H&M (Jacksonville, FL) in Sep 2012
Interview
The interview process for a sales advisor at H&M will be very easy for anyone with half a brain and mild work experience, but will probably be challenging for someone with neither. There was a laid back phone interview, followed by a laid back in person interview with department manager, and finally a laid back group interview with other candidates and department manager before a job offer call. Anyone with decent work experience and anyone with a college degree should not accept the first offer and should ask to be compensated more fairly.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at H&M
Interview
It was a group interview. They asked us about fashion and what we know about H&M and it’s background. We also had a task in groups to come up with good answers to the questions given, we also had to present.
It was a group interview, we did group tasks like styling people for different occasions and answering . It was pretty focused on the company values and if you have a love for fashion.

Question 1
Style a customer who came in looking for an outfit for a job interview, their personal style is 'streetwear'
It was a group interview, about 8 of us. We had to basically work together on different scenarios and answer the questions the manager asked us. She also put us on the spot and individually asked us questions. I got 'who inspires you the most.'
