No interview. No-contact rejection email stated: "We have reviewed your work experience, skills, and capabilities, and have decided not to move forward at this time. We would like to keep your resume on file and reach out to you in the future if a position becomes available that is a better fit." The problem is I am qualified for the position so it is unlikely that there will be a job that is a "better fit" in the future. Therefore, I don't want my private information stored on file and I want to make that choice myself. I didn't authorize keeping my information on file indefinitely.
Secondly, their career page has no HR contact link, no ADA accessibility request contact link, and a broken link for setting cookies. Its website states that if you don't configure the pop-up settings, then they will store the maximum number of cookies on your computer. However, since the cookie settings page doesn't open, you can't configure the cookies. If you click on "more information," you are promptly dumped out to your browser instead of a page with more information about their cookies.
Finally, I don't apply to any company a second time that didn't offer at least a telephone interview the first time. Without an initial interview, I can't vet the company to tell whether they are worth a second chance. For example, an interview is a good way to gauge how comfortable a company is with applicants who have disabilities. Those companies tend to ask if you need assistance with the interview process, their hiring managers and recruiters aren't freaked out if you have a disability. Some companies seem to always reject applicants with disabilities so it wouldn't matter how many times I apply for jobs with that same company because the answer will always be the same. These are "zero-chance companies" and I try to avoid them.
I don't recommend applying for this company because it doesn't care about the privacy or security of applicant's personal information and it doesn't offer any way for an applicant with disabilities (or any applicant) to contact HR.
