I was an internal transfer, so the interview process was relatively easy. I went from customer support to the claims department. I got licensed in claims and applied for the position.

The day before and after Thanksgiving I got a cold email as well as a follow-up email from the CEO of the company about the PM role they were trying to fit. He asked about my availability and gave me the information on the coordinator for the process.
After a few days, since I didn't hear back, I reached out to the coordinator and she said we received a high volume of response, we will be in touch with you if you are a match.
The next day comes and they send me a rejection email. Such a twisted recruiting process! The worst I have ever experienced!
