      Marketing Partner Manager Interview

      Mar 7, 2016
      Anonymous interview candidate
      San Francisco, CA
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Glassdoor (San Francisco, CA) in Jan 2016

      Interview

Had a phone screen with the recruiter and then a phone interview with the hiring manager. Both were lovely and described the role requirements and hiring process well. When I asked what the marketing team's biggest challenge was, the hiring manager replied that it was their rapid expansion as a team and into new markets. When I didn't progress to the next round, I was somewhat confused. Although the role required much B2B experience which I may have been lacking compared to others, my background is in marketing in Europe and Australasia and I felt that my international experience could have helped the team with their expansion a lot.
