Good communication and feedback. Job description was provided in structured format. Interview started on time but interview was from US, it was conducted at 9 pm IST. Question were very specific detailed level
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at General Mills (Minneapolis, MN) in Sep 2018
Interview
I submitted my resume directly through their online careers portal and was contacted the next day by a recruiter. She outlined the entire process and expected turnaround times at each step. An initial technical phone screen with one of the senior technical team members followed after which I was scheduled on-site. The on-site interview consisted of multiple 1:1 rounds with management, technical staff, and HR personnel with a casual coffee break chat.
Shortly after the on-site interview a formal offer was made which I accepted. I had competing offers at the time but the thoroughness, experience, and employee interactions of the on-site interview sold me on General Mills.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The management/HR sessions consisted of typical "talk about a time" and "how do you handle" type questions mostly. The technical was a design discussion around a theoretical problem.
