Interview
My Interview Process with General Mills was well put together and communicated. Both HR and the hiring managers were positive, easy to communicate with, and very responsive. The Process is rigid (as expected): online application > phone screening > online assessments > on-site interview.
The on-site interview was well structured: a 15min introduction by HR, then 3 separate 45-minute interview's with managers and senior engineers (mainly consisting of situational STAR questions) and then wrapped up with a 45-minute social lunch with an engineer.
The hardest part of the process was waiting, I applied to the position online in May of 2019, I had a phone screening at the beginning of October 2019, and my on-site interview at the end of October 2019. Long, but worth it.

Interview
Just your basic Zoom Interview, but they asked some what-if questions based on a theoretical packaging issue. The interview was over in about thirty minutes or so. They got back to me within two weeks.

30 minute phone screening where I talked with the manager of the team I would be working on. I got an email saying they are interested in moving forward but I have not yet had the final interview!

Interview
There was a phone interview, then I was called for an onsite interview. In between there was a brief online assessment. Onsite interview included a coffee chat where you could ask about the job and workplace.
