I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Geek Squad in May 2014
Interview
Phone interview: Basic description of the position and basic questions about any past customer service experience.
Supervisor interview: Basic questions about your past experience in customer service positions and how you would handle different situations you might find yourself in when talking to a client. Nothing too difficult.
General Manager interview: The last interview was with the DM of the store. Pretty much the same questions you were asked when talking to the supervisor. They will also go over the pay with you. No negotiation. The GM would not budge on the hourly starting pay.

Question 1
What would you do if a client came in and said that their computer randomly stopped turning on.
Overall a pleasant experience. Questions were not difficult to answer. Mostly how one would handle different situations and your past experience. The interview did not take a long time and wait time for a response was reasonable.

Question 1
Name a time where you had a customer with an attitude and how did you resolve it?
Very laid back, what do I do for fun, have you worked with customers before, what was my availability like? Have you worked with windows computers before. The manager was nice, has been there for a while.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Geek Squad (Dallas, TX) in Jul 2022
Interview
Interview was fairly easy. Most of it was behavioral questions. Usually a 2-interview process. They may ask you limited technology questions but nothing more than consumer-level knowledge as a consultant.
