I applied through university. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gauge Capital (Southlake, TX) in Oct 2024
Interview
One phone screening call and then they invite you to an in-person superday. Mine lasted from 8:30am-4:30pm. There were 6-7 interviews, each starting every half an hour or so. The superday interviews were primarily behavioral, with only two being technical. They asked pretty simple questions in the technical ones, think marketing sizing and depreciation moving through the financial statements.

Question 1
One whole interview was talking about the merits and risks of an investment you're familiar with. This can be a personal investment in a public stock, an investment from a previous job, or even talking through a recently announced investment you think is interesting.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Gauge Capital (Southlake, TX) in Jun 2024
Interview
I went through one screening call and three interviews following that. All four calls were behavioral in nature. Following talking about my experiences, the interviewers asked about questions I had. In each instance, the interviewer would ask what questions I had only 10-15 minutes leaving about half the interview to answer my questions. During the fourth round interview, I told the VP about my academic scholarships and was asked if it was because of my race. I repeated that these awards were academic and that I was white. The interview process suddenly and unexplainably ended after I was told to hear back about the next steps.
