Interview
Had a phone interview with HR and after that a phone technical interview with an engineer. The coding questions were in C online on coderpad. Questions were pretty easy and I received an offer a few weeks later.

Question 1
What is the difference between pass by value and pass by reference?
Phone screen was a common tell me about yourself and why Garmin. They didn't ask any follow ups on your answered and seemed to just run through the list of the questions they had.

Interview
I had 1hr behavioral Interview and 1hr technical interview. Behavioral interview was about how I got to know the company, why should the company hire me, and what kind of research experience I had.
Process took about a month. Recruiter was slow getting back to me but interview process was alright. The interviewers were friendly and mainly focused on problem solving and how you think through your code.
