I applied online in October. A little over a month and a half later, a recruiter reached out to me to schedule a 30 minute interview with a hiring manager. After that interview, a screening call with the recruiter. During that call, I was informed that there were multiple possible interested hiring managers, so I wouldn't necessarily be working for the one I interviewed with if hired. Next step was a 1 hour coding session with a software engineer. They said the questions would be one medium and one hard, but these were both very easy questions.
This interview was the last time I heard from anyone, and that was over a month ago, and I followed up with a thank you note and to check in.
The only reasonable assumption for me is that they are not moving forward with my candidacy, which is unfortunate because I really liked the hiring manager that I talked with in the initial call and the interviews all went well.
I am confused with their process - are they even interested in hiring people? I would expect any form of follow up after spending 2 hours interviewing with them. Good luck to anyone else interviewing with them.
