FutureLab interview questions

I was contacted and invited to an online interview, which was conducted by one interviewer. The session began smoothly. I was given the chance to present my previous work and explain my approach in detail. I was also asked questions such as “Why do you think you’re a good fit for the company?” and “Why choose us?”. At one point, the interviewer raised a question about my relatively shorter experience (around 1 year) and why I was considering to move at this stage. The interview seemed to place more emphasis on the length of my experience rather than my actual skills, especially since there was no design task included in the process. Overall, the process was straightforward and gave me the chance to share my background. However, I felt it would have been more complete and balanced if practical skills were also evaluated, rather than focusing mainly on years of experience.
