Job posted less than a week, phone screen with HR then 2 separate zoom interviews with managers. Thought went well, then asked to do a ‘Case Study’ to present amongst all including entry level person which is aka ‘hand over your trade secrets’ and we will decide if we like you. Got an automated response the following week they went with someone else, however this position is still posted and there is not even a handful of people in this field that have experience. I think if you have someone jump thru that many hoops during Pandemic times, A) NO case study and B) god forbid you have to, then at least give the candidate a call and give some feedback, even if it's completely dishonest, just to be polite. Wine industry is know for popularity contests especially as it pertains to age, skill means nothing.
