Don't bother with that place. I applied for a position and heard back the next day. I met with a manager who said I was "overqualified" for the position I applied for, and he was going to recommend me for a higher position. The following week, I met with his manager, and it went well.
I then received an email saying I was selected for a panel interview and that I would be presenting a slide deck they gave me. I practiced for a week, then presented, and I felt I knew the material cold.
Do you think they ever got back to me with a decision one way or another? Nope. I emailed the original manager 3x in 4 weeks, and when I didn't hear anything back, I emailed his manager asking for a status. None were given. If you value your time, like I do, don't waste it with this company.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Fotokite (Zürich) in May 2024
Interview
First cognitive interview focusing mainly on your experience, followed by an online assessment with Python coding, pair review and SQL time exercises, about 1½ hours. Exercises that are not extremely difficult but the time is not very long.

I applied online. I interviewed at Fotokite in Mar 2019
Interview
Identical experience to the first interviewee. And I think there are quite a lot of us by now..
If you follow the jobs this company posts, there is a pattern: "generalist software engineer" is kept in there ~ 20 days. After that it is renewed. Over and over again.
The "generalist software engineer" @ Zurich post has been bouncing around in here for what.. 2 years? and it always appears again and again. I don't know why they want to waste people's time.
It's a pitty though.. Seems like an interesting job!
