I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at FloQast (New York, NY) in Jul 2024
Interview
I had an introductory call with recruiters ten days after my 45-minute technical interview. Ten days after that, I had a three-hour semi-technical interview with managers/staff engineers. The first interview included behavioral questions, the second one had technical questions, and the third was focused on testing design questions, such as testing a cinema ticket booking system with third-party integrations and infrastructure in AWS. I felt all the interviews went very well and that I answered all the questions. However, I received a rejection notice five days later. When you asked for feedback, the company said giving feedback is against their policy. The company spent so much time talking about its wonderful culture, but this is not what good company culture means. If I spent so much time on this recruiting process, I believe I deserve feedback, especially with the current state of the market.
