I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Fintros (Toronto, ON) in Feb 2020
Interview
This is the worst interview I ever had, there was a tech lead person interviewing me in the downtown Toronto office, basically just an innovation hub. The interviewer was late by almost 1 hour. And when he interviewed me, he was like he got high from weed, no eye contact, and no respects on the candidate at all. When I was talking, he just looked somewhere else for no reason, not just once. He was stupid as hell, if he thinks I am not qualified then just find an excuse and finish the interview. But I eventually got another offer from somewhere.

1. Take home assignment, build a blog post app with React &Rails
2. In-person interview, asking your past project experience

Interview
Interviewed before the Covid-19 outbreak started. I took an email after one week that says you are a potential candidate after that Covid-19 outbreak started. Did not get any response. Send the CEO and did not get a response. At the same, they posted the same jobs many times while interviewing with me. This happened many times. They deleted posts and reposted them again. After lockdown got another email that asks if I am still available. I responded but did not get any answer.
Something shady is going on.

Question 1
How to prevent the component from re-rendering in React JS?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Fintros in Aug 2020
Interview
Applied and a couple days later got a response to do a technical assessment.
Completed the assessment and did a phone interview talking about past experience, the company and how they handled COVID, technologies.
Was told I would get a response the following week, didn't get a response until i messaged, got another interview that was rescheduled multiple times on their end. Where I was told I would get a response the following week. During the second interview I got weird feelings of shadiness as my clarification responses were ignored.
Ended up not even getting a rejection and got ghosted in the final stage. Not a good look
