Was recruited by a third party company that worked closely with the hiring team. They were extremely unprofessional, lowballed me and had poor communication skills.
I was headhunted for this role by the recruiter and they agreed on a salary with me and came back and lowballed me a few hours later saying it’s because I don’t code. Product designers should not be expected to code but I actually can program, just wasn’t listed in the job description.
The team I interviewed with were all very nice but the recruiter kept pressuring me and sent me the offer late but said I had to sign in under 24 hours even when we hadn’t discussed my start date, full salary expectations. CEO called me after hours which was also unexpected and reflects the work life balance here. While everyone I met was nice, I would want against their recruiting process that also would spam me with calls and constantly sending unprofessional texts, asking me to verbally commit with no actual written offer. When my written offer was given, it was sent after business hours and I was expected to respond over the weekend when the recruiter was not even contactable. Very unprofessional recruitment process but the people I met from the actual team seemed okay. Be careful with salary expectations and state them early on. I ended up accepting a different offer but still would not have proceeded here simply because of the lack of organization and professionalism in their recruitment process.
