I got contacted by a Recruitment agency for the Risk Management Director position.
As the company is one of the local market leaders and has a subsidiary in UAE, and since it was a lifelong aspiration to be part of this culture, I wanted to check out this opportunity.
It turned out to be one of the most interesting hiring processes I have taken part in;
Started with a panel interview with the most senior managers in other departments; it was a Personality and skills assessment and we talked about the job prospects and discussed my fit within the group structure;
Once they gave their assessment, I had the chance to go for an interview with the CEO which was mostly a personality based assessment with some technical skills test;
All was followed with the HR meeting to finalize compensation package and logistical details.
