I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at ExxonMobil (Houston, TX) in Oct 2018
Interview
45 minute phone interviewed followed by an on-site interview at Exxon’s HQ. The staff was pleasant enough. The itinerary and logistics were made easy. Combination of behavioral and case questions. Unfortunately, I was ghosted. I don’t mind being rejected, but think that Exxon should communicate with candidates who spend a day of their time in Houston.

I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ExxonMobil (North Houston, TX) in Oct 2025
Interview
In person interview, standard behavioral interview with relatively easy questions, why Exxon, why this position, your experience, tell me about about yourself, not that bad. It was a very positive interview and the interviewers were kind in the sense that they wanted as much as detail as possible without grilling.
Fairly relevant questions based on your experience and subject matter. Process was completely automated, directly received an email for all rounds cleared. HR did not accommodate any date changes for interview timing.
