I have been working at ExxonMobil (More than 3 years)

    Pros

People are very friendly. and VERY laid back.

    Cons

Strange attitude towards contractor vs employee. Having been an employee all my life, I've never thought of the contractors where I've worked as any different except for pay structure/benefits. They are considered a lower class here....which is quite hilarious once you get over the initial shock.

    Advice to Management

Show professionalism by having your employees actually show up for a few hours every day. It's not very motivating to hear " I only have to do this for another (insert however many years here) until I retire from the majority of long term employees....in between manicure appointments and shopping expeditions.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the good work - keep reviewing reporting needs - what is working, what is not - be careful of who is moving in just because of time in grade - attrition at times can be a detriment
