      Interview

I interviewed for the Business Development role in July 2024. After two rounds of interviews, they told me I had been selected, and I signed the contract. We agreed that I would start in early September since I had pre-booked vacations in August, and the client I was supposed to work with did as well. Just a few days before I was supposed to start, towards the end of August, they informed me that they had withdrawn the offer due to issues with the client. This seemed very strange to me, especially since, at the beginning, they wanted me to start immediately in July. So, what would they have done in that case? Would they have let me start in July and then fired me after a month? During August, the sales manager even asked me if I knew anyone to recommend, as they were hiring two more Business Development roles. After withdrawing my offer, I noticed that the recruiter continued to post Business Development vacancies. I asked for clarification, and she confusingly said they were looking for English speakers, which I am as well. All in all, it was a very confusing and strange experience. A negative experience with a company I definitely would not recommend to anyone.
