The meeting was an hour long, and he'd expressed interest in hiring me within weeks. Then, he allegedly changed his mind after HR didn't like what my references allegedly said. Later, the owner indicated he'd decided the timing wasn't right. Three months later: another request to meet with me, again for another hour. The owner had fired the marketing person, because "she couldn't work here" (and added expletives to describe her). Left me hanging for another month.
