      Electrical Engineer Interview

      Jun 10, 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Epiroc in Dec 2025

      Interview

The interview process felt disorganized and unprofessional from start to finish. After applying, I eventually had an initial HR call. Some time later, I was supposed to receive the next step, but due to communication issues on their side, I did not receive it until after multiple follow-ups. I then spent significant time completing the technical challenge and submitted it promptly. HR acknowledged it and said they would follow up soon. However, over the following weeks, I had to follow up repeatedly and received little to no meaningful communication. Eventually, after roughly a month, I was told they had moved forward with another candidate. I fully understand that companies choose the candidate they believe is the best fit. Rejection itself is not the issue. The issue is the lack of communication, lack of respect for a candidate’s time and effort, and the feeling that follow-up emails were simply ignored. After asking candidates to complete a time-consuming challenge, the company should at least provide timely updates and basic professional courtesy. Overall, the process came across as arrogant, poorly managed, and inconsiderate. I would not recommend investing serious time in their interview process unless they improve how they communicate with candidates.
