Did an initial 30 minute interview with talent acquisition, then a technical interview which I felt went well, but was then ghosted even after following up with the talent team.

Disappointing Lack of Communication
My interview process with Endava started off quite smoothly. Ryan from the hiring team was responsive in setting up the initial rounds, and things moved quickly. The first stage was a technical interview that involved solving a coding challenge and implementing functionality in an existing codebase. After that, I had a meeting with the Head of Australia, which seemed promising.
However, after this stage, communication completely broke down. I received no further updates, and Ryan, who was initially prompt, stopped responding altogether. It’s frustrating that a company of this scale finds it so difficult to provide a simple update—whether it’s a selection or rejection. A lack of basic courtesy and transparency reflects poorly on the hiring process.
Overall, my experience was very disappointing. While the technical rounds were structured well, the complete silence afterward left a bad impression. A simple follow-up email would have gone a long way in maintaining professionalism.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Endava (Cluj-Napoca)
Interview
Pretty basic questions from OOP, design, algorithms, programming structures. Started with a basic question and then more in depth ones on the same topic. Friendly interviewers, the discussion was pleasant. Emphasis on wanting to hire normal people not rockstars. Nothing too special
