First, I had a one on one interview with the co-founder of the company. Then, they brought me in for a group interview (me v 6 other people at the table). I felt like I was in charge of the interview the whole time. The group looked like they were waiting to be done so they could get back to work and had no specific plans about what exactly they should ask a candidate. I asked about what type of personality they were looking for and baffled them. "They don't have a type of person they need on their team, as ong as the new person does the work."
