Interview
2 stage interview.
1st stage overall was unprofessional & unproductive. The meeting was scheduled for 9am. Both interviewers arrived late. One of them was 10-15mins late. The other was half an hour late and walked in the meeting half way through. The excuse I was given was late trains. Why set a meeting first thing in the morning when your office is in the middle of London and you know commuting can be delayed unexpectedly?
The meeting ran terribly. No clear structure to the questions being asked. The 2nd interviewer who walked in to the meeting half an hour late, not only was trying catch up on what he missed but also spent the last 15 mins reminding me numerous times that the meeting needs to wrap up by 10 because there’s a 2nd interviewee (I assume for the same role) they didn’t want to keep waiting.
Overall experience and first impressions was terrible. Felt like I was being rush through the meeting and found it to be a waste of my time quite frankly. They said I was likely to hear back for the second stage, admittedly I wasn’t excited about this given the experience I just had.
