I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Edward Jones (Houston, TX) in Sep 2019
Interview
I was referred to apply online by another Edward Jones employee. I went to their careers page, online and applied for a few offices around my area. I was declined on the first few. 3 months later, I tried again and I was sent an email to schedule a phone interview. I clicked on the link and scheduled my phone interview for the following week. A woman called my and told me the office I was currently applying for had already filled the position, however there were 2 other offices in the area I could apply for. After my 30 minute interview on the phone, that was a pretty normal interview she sent over a document for my signature and a two part application process that was pretty long to go through. You had 24-48 hours to have it completed. I completed and signed both parts of the application. Within a day I received a phone call from the financial adviser to schedule an in person interview. This interview was an hour long. Probably one of the harder interviews I had to go through. He was very throrough and had a lot of follow up questions. You really have to think on your feet. However, even know it was difficult I felt the most calm and comfortable in this interview. He didn't drill me on just work questions, but we talked about life and perspectives as well. He gave me to things to do when I got home, to follow up with an email about. Within 2 or 3 days I was called back to do a follow up interview, which will be coming up in a few days. I have not been made an offer yet.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Who is someone that has made the biggest impact in your life and why? What did they say that stuck to you?
I am interviewing with them and so far so good. I did 5 steps and now I am waiting to see if I get an offer or not. It was very difficult but they were very nice during the interviews.
Digital interview first, if you advance, then a screening call from the recruiter. If you advance, then you meet the recruiter/ FA over Zoom. They see if you'd be a good fit at the office by asking situational questions.

Interview
The on demand interview and the phone interview with the recruiter were easy to complete. I'm looking forward to the Zoom interview and the next steps in the interview process.
