I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Edward Jones in Dec 2011
Interview
I went in to see him one on one and he told me what the job consisted of. He asked me a few questions about what I would want to do when I was older and I responded. He told me I had the job and to come in tomorrow ready to work. When I came into the job I was put on the computer and was able to learn from him first hand on how to deal with customers and what customers were looking for in a Financial Advisor
There were two different stages. One that was similar to HireVue where you recorded your own answers, but you could rerecord and take your time, which was nice. The second was with a person from Human Capital and was all behavioral.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1. Describe a time you disagreed with a coworker and how you navigated the situation.
I applied through university. I interviewed at Edward Jones (Saint Louis, MO)
Interview
The interview process was friendly but formal and serious. The team members are very helpful in learning about the company but ask question to learn about you. They truly seem to care if you are a good fit.
The first step is a systematic interview, recording interview questions for 2 minutes or less in front of the camera, there are a lot of small questions, all about behavior question. The overall difficulty is not high.
