The interview process consists of 7 rounds and 1 UCAT test. Out of 7 rounds, 4 were heavily studded with technical and business domain related questions. We had an in depth discussion about my latest projects in AI/ML- the use case, business relevance, technical implementation, stages of AI model, various models, mathematics behind them, their evaluation matrix, production deployment, overall integration with the product.
These 4 rounds lasted for approximately 45mins-1hour. The interviewers were well experienced in AI/ML domain so I would suggest one must refresh concepts and have detailed understanding of their work or whichever projects or technologies you have mentioned in your resume.
1 round happened with the director level person in US within Product Management, it lasted for 25 min due to time crunch. This round was more focused on project, business and domain understanding.
1 round happened with talent acquisition manager which was more like a discussion to see how well I fit in the company’s culture. That went up to 1 hour and 15 minutes. I enjoyed having conversation to understand the values of company, its culture, employee’s benefits, future prospects and presenting my knowledge about the overall business of the company and feedback on the interview rounds.
The 6th round was of UCAT in which you have to answer 40 question within 20 minutes of time frame. It basically evaluates the cognitive ability, speed and accuracy of the candidate. It has no negative marking. The questions were based upon general quantitative and qualitative aptitude from work and time, distance, speed & time, ratio proportion, spatial recognition, geometry, number series, graphs for data interpretation, Set. Correct approach to attempt such test it to attempt maximum question if possible 37 to 40 without wasting much time on a question in case you get stuck. This test doesn’t have an option to go back to a question in case you skip it without answering hence, you must answer each and every question without skipping it.
In the 7th round, discussion happened with HR about salary negotiations and other benefits.
Throughout the process, I was connected with Rakhi Pukale from HR, she kept me well informed about the rounds, their nature and feedback from previous rounds. I did not feel at any point in time that I am in abeyance or reaching out myself to get answers of my questions. She was prompt and well structured all of the rounds beforehand hence, I did not face any kind of trouble. Thanks to her.
