      Anonymous employee
      Banbridge, Northern Ireland
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at EOS IT Solutions (Banbridge, Northern Ireland) in May 2023

      Interview

A 5 stage interview process, with the first interview telling me how many interviews I could expect and who I would be meeting. Before the meeting there was information in my invitation letter about what to expect at the first interview.

      Interview

Straightforward interview process when joining. I had an initial call with a recruiter. Afterwards I had an in person interview with the hiring team. It was a conversational interview with a mixture of technical questions.

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at EOS IT Solutions (Banbridge, Northern Ireland) in Sep 2024

      Interview

An Abysmal Display of Unprofessionalism – Avoid at All Costs My experience with this company was not only frustrating but revealed a shocking level of disorganisation and disregard for candidates. Imagine preparing for a final-stage interview, only to find that the job had been reposted a mere two hours before the meeting. When I questioned them, they flatly denied it, despite clear, undeniable evidence. This kind of dishonesty speaks volumes about their lack of transparency and respect for potential employees. Their so-called “Prevue Assessment” is another example of how this company operates in bad faith. While I was assured it wouldn’t be a deciding factor, it became glaringly obvious that the outcome of this arbitrary, pseudo-psychological test—focused on irrelevant questions about colours and shapes—was used to guide the interviewers’ judgment. To make matters worse, when the assessment mistakenly concluded that I don’t like working with data, I presented multiple, career-specific examples proving otherwise. None of it mattered; their minds were clearly made up, based not on my experience or skillset, but on an irrelevant assessment with zero relation to recruitment or actual job competencies. The interview itself was a baffling experience. Both interviewers, though holding senior positions, displayed a stunning lack of recruitment knowledge. When asked technical questions, they floundered, and their feedback was embarrassingly shallow. I was told to "shorten my CV"—an absurd suggestion that revealed their inability to distinguish between a CV and a cover letter. If basic attention to detail is beyond the grasp of those responsible for hiring decisions, one can only imagine the chaos that lies beneath the surface of this company. After the interview, I was promised feedback by midweek. Predictably, this never happened. Upon following up, I was met with the excuse that HR was on holiday. It took nearly two weeks of chasing them down to receive a generic, dismissive rejection email—completely devoid of any specific feedback or constructive criticism. When I raised legitimate concerns about the reposting of the job before my final interview and provided evidence, it was conveniently brushed aside, showing a complete unwillingness to address serious, glaring issues. The parting line of the rejection email, stating that “Based on your skills and experience in recruitment, we have no doubt you’ll find another position soon,” was not only condescending but blatantly hypocritical. If they had any real respect for the experience and qualifications they purported to value, this ordeal wouldn’t have happened in the first place. This company’s process is a disorganised mess, their communication is deceitful, and their assessment methods are laughably out of touch with what recruitment or talent acquisition actually entails. If you value your professional integrity, do yourself a favour and avoid this company entirely. Directors pay attention you have huge problems on your hands if this is your candidate experience and service delivery a lot is to be desired. Candidates DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!
