Interview
I had a really mixed feeling about the interview and recruitment process. I had an initial hour interview with 2 senior members who gave me an option to proceed with 2 roles, both of which I received great feedback for. I chose the more
Senior role to proceed and met the CTO who asked a number of competency questions and was told I got the job. I provided my personal details and was told a contract was on its way. But then 3 weeks later, radio silence so I contacted the contact I had who told me the CTO was worried about me working 4 days a week but not to worry because they were confident I was the right person for the role. 3 weeks after that after multiple chasing I was told they decided to interview and offer the role to someone else. Absolutely awful experience and when I asked about the other role, they had also closed that off. But it was enough to show the real culture here, one that doesn’t support work life balance so I see this as a lucky escape!

I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at ENSEK (Nottingham, England) in Feb 2026
Interview
I had an initial conversation with the internal recruiter within the business for a role within the Finance Team. The recruiter was clearly very knowledgeable and understood of mechanics of the business, expectations from role and able to express in detail what they were looking for and really deep dived into my CV and background. Although I didn't get the role, it was a really good recruitment expereince.

Interview
Shockingly bad organisation of interviews and recruitment process. If this is how candidates are treated, I can not believe, if offered employment, the employee experience and onboarding would improve. Disorganised from the get go. The reputation of this company seems to hang in the balance due to a disorganised recruiter. Salaries seem below market rate. Job descriptions are unrealistic.
