I applied online. I interviewed at EEZE in Oct 2025
Interview
It was the 1st stage interview conducted by the recruiter. She asked me to introduce myself and then straight into the point, for example, asking whether I have experience on certain skills (which is listed on the job description).
Lastly, she said she would send my CV to the next stage. Overall, the interivew was easy and relax.
Overall, the initial recruiter interaction was professional and the screening call itself was straightforward. .
After the screening, candidates were asked to complete a take-home assignment before meeting anyone from the hiring team. The assignment involved designing a BI solution, outlining a data querying approach, and building a prototype UI to visualize the data. While the exercise itself was reasonable, it required several hours of work.
After submitting the assignment, I later discovered through the analytics on the prototype link that it had not been opened or viewed. Shortly afterward I received a rejection email without feedback.
If companies ask candidates to spend meaningful time completing assignments, it’s important that the work is actually reviewed and that candidates receive at least some feedback. Otherwise it gives the impression that candidates’ time is not respected.
I would suggest either reviewing submitted assignments carefully or discussing the exercise live with candidates so the effort feels worthwhile.
