I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at DoorDash (San Francisco, CA) in Mar 2019
Interview
An employee referred me to apply for this position. The process in order was 1 30-min phone interview, 1 take-home 24 hour analytics exercise, 1 30-min video conference interview, then in-person final round at the San Francisco HQ office where it was 4 back to back 45-min interviews. The recruiter was responsive throughout the process and accommodating to my schedule. I was able to choose the exact day/time to start the 24-hour exercise, which was helpful; though I was told it should take 2-3 hours, I definitely spent the better part of 15+ hours on it, but maybe I was just overthinking it. Interviews were mostly behavioral, with a few business case questions that were not too bad. If you're used to prepping for consulting type case interviews, these "business case questions" are very doable (I'd say consulting cases are tougher than what I was asked for DoorDash).

Question 1
Analytics exercise consisted of just being given a csv extract of lots of delivery data and a very broad "what kind of insights can you show us" set of instructions.
