I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Direct Line Global (Beaverton, OR) in Oct 2023
Interview
Open and honest interview process, Great team, the interview was 3 rounds and we talked about past experience mainly. They asked questions around my future and what I wanted out of a company as well. Overall a great experience.
The interview process began with a Teams interview with the recruiting manager, followed by a panel interview with the hiring manager and an HR generalist. Both interviews were well-structured and professional, and the questions focused on my skills and experience.
However, two weeks after the panel interview, I was informed that the role had been canceled due to budget constraints. This was disappointing, but what made it worse was discovering months later that someone had been hired for the position. It felt like my time and effort were wasted, and the lack of transparency throughout the process was frustrating.
If a role isn’t properly funded, it shouldn’t be posted in the first place. This experience left a poor impression and raised concerns about the company’s planning and communication.
I applied through other source. I interviewed at Direct Line Global
Interview
The interviewer said somebody was taking over the next day because she was going on maternity leave, so the person taking over would follow up. There was no follow-up; there was a lack of coordination between them.
