I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Dignio (Oslo) in Sep 2025
Interview
The overall interview process was extremely unprofessional, disorganized, and disrespectful of my time. I interviewed with this company twice within a few months. In the first process, they reached out to me directly on LinkedIn, conducted an initial interview, and later rejected me with the vague explanation that I “lacked motivation,” which made no sense considering I invested my time and attended the interview willingly.
A few weeks later, they contacted me again—despite already knowing my profile and previous outcome—and assured me that this time the role and process would be completely different. I was on vacation and already busy, yet they insisted on proceeding quickly and even scheduled interviews on weekends (Saturday and Sunday). I also completed a technical task where I had to review their codebase (which was quite messy) and prepare a detailed presentation with proposed solutions. The technical team seemed very positive and engaged during the interview, giving me the impression that things went well.
However, the next day I received a generic rejection email with no explanation or constructive feedback, even after specifically requesting it. They never responded. After multiple rounds, weekend interviews, and completing a technical assignment, the complete lack of transparency and communication was extremely disappointing.
Overall, the process felt disorganized, rushed, and inconsiderate. The company repeatedly reached out to me, took significant time and effort from my side, and offered nothing in return—not even basic feedback. I would caution candidates to carefully consider whether it’s worth investing time in a process that does not respect candidates’ effort.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They asked behavioral questions in the first round, followed by code-review-related questions where I had to analyze their existing code and present my proposed approach and solutions.
