One-step interview. Had a Zoom call with the CEO, Mike Hunt, who handles tech hiring. We discussed the position, my background, and what was expected of the role, and did a live coding challenge of a simple full-stack web page.
Very friendly and supportive, and got back to me within two weeks.

The founder may be well-intended but requires the candidates to do too much. I was rejected after the phone screen, on-site, take home, and getting my references grilled with questions in that order. If you don't want to strain your relationship with your references and waste your time, I’d steer away.
