Question 1
Why do I want to work for them? What am I looking for in a job right now?
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Diamond Concepts (WA) (Saint Louis, MO) in Jul 2019
Interview
The interview seemed too easy. The first interview was a group interview, few questions were asked and it seemed entirely informational, I was contacted later that day to schedule the next interview. The second round interview was a one-on-one interview that went more in-depth. The job was offered to me after this second interview and the orientation was to be held on the same day. When I asked if there were any other times for the orientation I was told that that day was the only time available, which was odd as there was another applicant preparing for their first interview in the lobby. I did not accept the offer.
I applied online. I interviewed at Diamond Concepts (WA) (Bellevue, WA) in Jun 2019
Interview
Applied through a LinkedIn posting (which I would later find out was listed under a software company based out of Tulsa btw) that described this as a Marketing Internship. The job description was very vague, but it sounded like a legit opportunity. The first interview was very short, the women talked really fast and again was vague about the job and what I would be doing. Hours and pay were not discussed. I was then invited back for a second interview, and it was there that the true colors of the company were exposed. This interview went a bit longer, and the hiring representative described the position in more detail. Turns out the position I had applied to was not a marketing internship, but it is literally selling car wax at a gas station for commission-based pay from 9-7 every day. They try to disguise this by using fancy words and even straight up lying during the interview. I was given an offer, but after reading reviews on here and doing more research, I declined.
