I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Demand (CA) in Feb 2023
Interview
The interview started right away without any company intro, I was just another task in the TA's life, it felt very humanly disconnected. As just another replaceable candidate, I did not get a great motivation to answer that well as my thoughts were around if this would be the right environment for me. The day-to-day of a BDC sounded very repetitive and generic, like a customer service job, where as long as you report your numbers at the end of each day, you'll be fine. The TA used buzzwords like "working in pods", which can be attractive to some but to me, it just sounded like making a regular corporate vertical structure, where everyone works in silos and reports up, sound more exciting. I think the interview could have been my be recording a video because with every answer, the TA simply made notes without really engaging.
