I applied in-person. I interviewed at Deloitte (Calcutta) in Sep 2017
Interview
I am not sure if this review going to help anyone but if anyone from the authorities look into it and take any initiative, in future it'll be beneficial for other candidates.
It was said there will 1 technical round, 1 managerial round and lastly Versant test.
On reaching the venue (Swissotel, Kolkata) and waiting there for almost 2and half hour, I was informed my interview will be telephonic. The interviewer asked details on project implementation, basics knowledge of SOA then gradually moved into in depth knowledge. Only one question I could not answer was about xref.
Then I waited for another 2 hours and finally went to the HR to ask about the feedback of my round. She asked me to wait for few more minutes. After 10 minutes she came back and asked I am through to 2nd round but this will be another technical and telephonic.
In this 2nd technical round I was expecting to be grilled more but surprisingly there was not a single question. Every thing he asked about what I did and how I did. And, surprisingly the Oracle SOA interviewer haven't heard of Oracle Business Rule! He asked atleast 3 times "what was that component you're mentioning? How does that work?" And in the end of the interview when I asked about some overview of SOA implementation in Deloitte, he narrated from Oracle EBS point of view. With in 2 minutes after the interview the HR came and disclosed my rejection.
