I applied through university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Deloitte (Los Angeles, CA) in Apr 2010
Interview
Got there, two people to be interviewed by
first round was technical, about how to manage the firm and what kind of technologies I'd suggest
second round was behavioral, about Deloitte and just usual stuff
didn't get an offer though, as it was for an internship and space is very limited, (compared to full time jobs)
competition is really tough on the other side, so good luck!
There was a more so personal approach to the questions being asked. You need to be able to cater your answers to the person talking to you would be. It’s more so about how you talk and present the information.
My interview experience with Deloitte for a consulting role was structured and comprehensive. It began with an HR screening call discussing my resume and motivations. This was followed by a technical round featuring a challenging case study, which tested my analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities under pressure. I had to break down the problem, propose solutions, and justify my reasoning.
The final round was with a senior manager, focusing on behavioral questions using the STAR method and my cultural fit. The atmosphere was professional yet conversational. Preparation, clear communication, and a structured approach to case studies were key to my success.
