I was recruited to come to Dell and was interviewed by several people from the team hiring me. This was several years ago and is probably not typical of how most people interview at Dell. The interview process can be arduous, with technical questions (for engineers) and questions about how you would handle a particular situation. You will be interviewed by several people, either one on one or as a team interview.

At Dell if you are refereed by a manager, or a relative of any of the current team member. You will easily get through. Your interview process would be face to face where they just ask your questions on you past tasks.
