Interview
3 Stage interview process with Manager, head of recruiting and department head. The experience was thorough and not excessively long. My observation was that they were trying to match the personality profile to the job specification. Roles at this organisation at store level require certain character, personality and behavioural traits to success in addition to work ethic and communication/teamwork style.

Question 1
Asked a lot about leadership style as well as standard competency based questions to understand accountability, driving for results, communication skills, ability to engage others and problem solving skills. This organisation uses competency based interviewing.
Brief intro interview with an HR person, followed by a longer interview with a Regional Manager in the same region. They asked the standard questions and overall it was a pretty standard interview experience.

Interview
Applying for the role was very simple through David's Bridal career portal. The interview process was very detailed and in depth. I went through a series of interviews over a 2-month period (this is standard for larger companies, and the interview process may differ depending on the role). Every interviewer that I encountered was very professional and sincere -- they showed a genuine interest in me and my skill set; which is imperative. Interviewers also took interest in individual/ team work styles, leadership qualities and evaluated strengths. The Talent Acquisition team I worked with was fantastic! They kept me looped in on the process and were excellent with following up. Overall, the interview process went very smooth and I highly recommend applying to a position of interest.
Most questions and conversations revolved around work competencies, how you interact with others, previous experiences relevant to the current role and more importantly what you can bring to the role and company.

Interview
They have a recruiter who does the pre screening over the phone. If you pass then u will meet the store manager for the interview. The last interview will be with the district manager. If it goes well they will job offer you in a couple of days.
