Interview
The first round interview was at my school and it was heavily based on probability and brain teasers.
The second round was at the Chicago Office for two days consisting of various social activities, 5 2 on 1 interviews and a group activity. The interviews are focused on your resume, classes you have taken, brain teasers, and probability/math questions.
I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at DRW (London, England) in Feb 2025
Interview
The process lasted a total of 6 months, with a total of 7 interviews, a mix of technical interviews and tests. I had 2 'final' interviews.
The whole time I was kept in the dark about the status of my application and reasons for delay, despite constantly requesting this information. I asked to have a call, only to be told that the role isn't going to be filled and that they've lost the headcount. Terrible treatment on the back of a terribly managed process.

Interview
The phone interview was primarily based on personality and fit questions, with a couple of brainteasers included near the end. There were almost no technical questions included, aside from the online mental math quiz.

Question 1
If I gave you $100,000, what would you do with it? How many quarters would it take to fill a 20x20x10 foot room?
HR was very helpful, Interview time was arranged by email. Interviewer did not make you feel at ease but it is completely random who you get. A relatively important issue is that the call you through speakerphone and the sound coming through is somewhat muffled.
