I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Cox Automotive
Interview
Unorganzied -- spoke to 3 recruiters and one was great, one was ok and one was clueless - terrible candidate experience. There seems to be a recruiting team working on requisitions, but it did not appear as if they actually spoke to one another. The interview scheduler was not aware of what was needed for the next step, but I was and when I inquired and tried to confirm, I was told "I am not sure, but I will find out." Never heard back so I called to confirm with the other recruiters .... it was a mess..

Interview
Chaotic six month interview process. I had a series of one on one interviews with the hiring team in Feb and Mar, then in July was asked to do a case study with no opportunity to presentation or discussion with HM. Told by HR in September that the team hired someone with more leadership experience. Later found out the incumbent is a new grad.

Question 1
No questions were asked. HM spent one hour on explaining how the organization would change its directions every week/month and how he foresaw his Sr Mgr adapt to the change.

Interview
Recruiter rushed me into a phone interview offering little flexibility to schedule the following week. She was not very knowledgeable about the role, having a general uneducated description about the key responsibilities. There was a lack of transparency about the salary range. This particular recruiter told me that I did not sound interested in the role based on my questions and answers. I was perplexed by this assumption. I would describe the entire phone interview process as amatuer and unprofessional.
