Fairly boilerplate question, nothing particularly imaginative or inquisitive. Once it got to the role it became clear why. Having explained my current salary and expectations, was offered a role £12k below my current pay, as the client "likes to start everyone junior and review after 6 months what they're worth". The call finished very shortly after this. The whole call lasted 7 minutes.

Would you take a lower paying job on the prospect you "might" get paid more later?
Interview process was very poor, had 2 guys in the same office both on Teams. They were obviously messaging each other and giggling away like school children.
Very immature, wouldnt trust this company at all.

Interview
Standard BD screening call with background, ambitions and aligning on company values and goals.
However the pay ranges and titles of jobs advertised don't correlate with the scope and pay covered on the call - in this case it wasn't a manager role, but rather a senior role for 15k less.
I didn't follow up.
