wait for a while and interviewer makes me feel uncomfortable by asking many questions, they really wanna know everything about your past including very detail salary information, and why you left previous job.

When the recruiter informed me that the interview location is at the retail outlet at Paragon, I was a bit skeptical as to why the interview is conducted at the store where there will be customers around. After the interview, i realized a few things and i greatly appreciate the experience alot. An established top 3 watch retailer in SG has alot to improve on in terms of staff etiquette, EQ and the way peers are being treated. I was given blank stares by the staff when i informed them of my purpose of the visit to the store. I was told to sit at a corner at the Rolex section (on a writing table) filing up the interview form and then few minutes later suddenly told to leave the table as there is a customer browsing the watches behind me. I then wasn't being informed on where to sit next and i was left standing awkwardly. I find it really weird to have the interview being conducted in the presence of customers. It does not seem professional for a luxury watch retailer.
The interviewer was somehow judgemental when i told her about my personal matters regarding me leaving my previous job. I find it astonishing to see Cortina has such staff in its office, especially in the HR department. And if Cortina's staff cant even treat their peers right, I am skeptical to whether if their staff will even treat their customers right. Especially in the retail service line, behaviour and etiquette towards people are very important.
Mr Anthony Lim should be aware of this situation going on and do something to maintain the brand's name. It is an eye opening experience and yet at the same time disappointing, not because of me not getting the job, but because people are not doing things to improve a real situation.
