I applied online. I interviewed at Conversion Science (Cape Town) in Oct 2023
Interview
Before the interview, I was expected to do 2 assignments that tested my knowledge on PPC marketing.
I was interviewed by the owner and manager. The owner asked the questions while the manger stayed silent.
The interview was intense and they really tested my fundamental knowledge on PPC marketing, this included revisting the assignments they gave me prior.
Finally, the manager spoke and I took that as a good sign and ellobarted what I could expect in the internship and the interview ended.
I really enjoy working for this company, would recommend.
there were two people interviewing me. The one sat there and played on his computer and never said a word. The other guy asked complicated questions to intentionally trick me. The first time he asked the question I asked correctly. Then he rephrased it in a way to confuse me and that made me change my answer.
Interviews are about learning about the person and their experience. He expected me to know them about SEO and other digital marketing concepts when the job offering was an INTERNSHIP . To my knowledge they are suppose to teach you and groom you. My bet is the advertise it as an internship so that they only have to pay you an internship salary (i.e. low).
