I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Comviva (Bengaluru) in Jan 2020
Interview
The interview process was really easy (Tech stack related common question from Google). After clearing all round they rejected my candidature as they were not ok with my past tenure with previous companies. I was furious as It was already discussed at the beginning of the interview, they could've raised concern there only. they wasted solid two weeks of mine.
After clearing two rounds of the technical interview I was told to fill the employment application form and write an essay on a given topic.
After form and essay submission they scheduled HR round with some senior of TA team and said that they will roll out salary annexure by the end of the day. After HR round they did not contact me for 4-5 Days, when I called the HR, he told me, he doesn't have any feedback, he will contact me tomorrow. The next day he said there's one more round with a very senior member of the company, I was surprised here as I was not informed about the 4th round of interviews, he mentioned in the starting that there are only 3 rounds of interviews.
Process -
1. Two technical rounds.
2. Essay writing round (LOL) and form employment form submission.
3. HR Round
4. Then unplanned surprised round with any senior employee (any director or executive level guy, etc) who's there with this company from the past decade. He will ask you some random non-sense and non-tech questions like why are you asking for so much salary (when I demanded only a 26% hike on the previous salary), why you've left the previous company after working for only 3 years? He will ask only such a pathetic question. Basically then want you to stay with them for at least 10 years and they don't want to work on keeping an employee happy and satisfied with their job.
Very pathetic interview process and people. If you want to waste your time, please go ahead. Please don't be fool by the big brand behind this company it is just another cheap MNC company that just wants to hire developers for the low package. They don't value your knowledge and talent but they value your previous tenure with companies. They want someone who will be married to these companies for at least 10 years. So if you are someone who has stayed with only one company then this company is for you but please don't ask for a hike more than 10%, otherwise, there will unplanned surprised interview by Senior members who will eventually reject you by asking lame questions.
