I applied online. I interviewed at Commercial Estates Group (Nottingham, England) in Jan 2022
Interview
Interview process was really relaxed, they want to find out about your experience and get to know you, I had kim sharpies do my interview and she was so kind and put me at ease
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Commercial Estates Group (Leeds, England)
Interview
2 stage interview both at the Leeds office (despite them asking if I could travel 3 hours to London). First stage was relaxed and friendly but the second stage very cold felt like they had already decided on another candidate and were just going through the motions. No offer of post interview feedback or any actual notification of rejection. Very poor considering I took 2 days annual leave and travelled to the far side of Leeds twice.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Commercial Estates Group (Nottingham, England) in Mar 2019
Interview
I was head-hunted by a third party recruitment consultant, who was insistent that I'd be the ideal candidate for the role. I was accepted for an interview and was told that the interview would be held at a hotel a stone's throw away from their offices. This seemed suspect, as the role was managing the reception for a very large office building. As I attended, they were still interviewing the previous candidate in the hotel bar. I could hear every word - which isn't professional. At the start of my interview, the interviewer openly told me that there are seeking to replace the existing Receptionists, who know nothing about this. I didn't react but, I was shocked & quite disgusted. Still, I proceeded with the interview. The interviewers were condescending & very rude. I terminated the interview, getting back in touch with the recruiter, professionally & calmly explaining the situation. He couldn't wait to get off the phone.
